Hi all

i have encountered a problem with creating a workflow with the SharePoint design 2013

when i tried to create a test workflow to see how it works  and have saved it and published it , it sent out  E-mails to which i have specified to send it , but not one E-mail , it sent 1254 emails to me and to the person i have specified it to go to.

Luckily he thought it was a prank as i put in the mail , before i sent it   "Don't stress , this is a test" lol

can anyone please help out hereon why it did it , please guide me on doing it PROPERLY

I understand that you send many emails after starting the workflow, but Im not very clear the steps in the workflow. Can you describe in detail?

If you create a loop workflow and set a large form Parameters for Loop Count, it will send many emails to the specified person.

What i did was , in the SharePoint Design  2013 , i set up rules for the workflow and have pointed it to our SharePoint ( test account ) where the document is. After i pointed it to the document , it started to send mails ,.. non stop to me and my colleague .

Not sure what i did wrong and need help on that
